Our First Showcase Is Here!

About this event

We are pleased to announce our first in-person EdTech Showcase Day. This one day event will take place on Friday 9th December 2022 at All Saints' CofE Primary School. Our core aim for this day is to welcome likeminded, enthusiastic school staff to experience our ASCLOUD network and see what is truly possible with the power of cloud technology and the Microsoft365 and Google platforms. Throughout the day delegates will get an opportunity to network with other schools and EdTech staff whilst receiving 3 topic sessions from our Microsoft MIE Master Trainer and other speakers from the school and EdTech community.

And what a great way to network and share some of your ideas than with a free buffet lunch!

The topic for this showcase:

This years topic is using EdTech to promote paperless functions both on the Microsoft and Google platforms. As we look at the journey a school would need to take in order to join the new era of cloud based working schools, not just for operational functions but also live in the classroom as we look to blend physical and digital learning to a new hybrid learning space.

Session 1 - Teaching in Blended Learning (CPD Session)

Our first session of the day will see you taking part in an Official Microsoft CPD session designed at understanding and developing a new way of thinking around blended learning.

This session is designed for all education staff to look at the how you can adapt a flexible blended learning in your school with the technology available both on physical devices and the Office365 platform.

Session 2 - EdTech in Action

From collaborative learning in Teams, to managing lessons in OneNote. This custom session showcases the power that schools have at their finger tips with the Microsoft, Google and Apple platforms. From simple integration to showcase projects in a different way to improving communication throughout your school. EdTech in action gets you hands on with the equipment and taking part in simple challenges against the group. This session will cover simple computing skills to programming knowledge, STEM and much more. There will also be an opportunity to see EdTech lessons in action around the school.

Session 3 - Paperless School Functions Masterclass (Insight Session)

Understand the true step by step process you will need in order to take your school paperless. Many schools are already on this journey but now is your turn to take a unique look into the ASCLOUD network and pick the brains on the Microsoft Trainers on-site at All Saints. You will also get a unique guide through the key software you will need to prowler your journey and how the process can be completed through the Google platform as well. This masterclass in the one stop shop for your cloud paperless journey.

Who is this aimed at?

Our session is aimed at those members of staff who have a desire to test the boundaries and want to further their knowledge around the Microsoft/Google Platform and cloud technology. This could be school leadership, governors, teaching staff, support staff, technical teams etc.

Our showcase sessions are designed to cover all basis and allow everyone who attends to achieve more with technology.

Due to us providing a free buffet lunch and needing to order to correct amount prior to the event. We are asking that all bookings are made before 4pm on Thursday 24th November 2022. Any bookings made after this date will be addressed on a case by case basis.

Please Note: We now also have a virtual attendee option for this event. When registering please select how you would like to attend the day. Please be aware though that by selecting virtual, we are unable to provide any buffet. :)
