Headteacher's Welcome

NB photo.png

I am absolutely delighted to be able to introduce myself as the new Headteacher of All Saints’ Church of England Primary School. The staff and children have been very welcoming and, having spoken to many parents already, I am looking forward to meeting you all over the coming weeks. I know the relationship between home and school is a strength of All Saints’, and this is something I will strive to maintain.

I join having held a number of senior leadership positions in Lincolnshire schools, with my most recent position having been as Headteacher at Castor Church of England Primary School here in Peterborough. I feel that the skills, knowledge and experience that I have gained places me well to lead our school on our continued journey of improvement. During the Autumn Term, I was able to visit school to meet with Mr Roberts, the staff and your children to try and ensure a smooth transition into the role, and everybody has been so kind and helpful. I’m sure you will join me in thanking Mr Roberts for the sterling job that he did during the Autumn term as Acting Headteacher.

What has shone through immediately is that All Saints’ C.E. Primary School is a very happy place to be, whether you are a child, a parent or a member of staff. There are quite literally smiles around every corner! This attitude to life and to learning, along with well-established relationships that are based on mutual respect help create a learning environment with a Christian ethos at its heart, one that is shared by many faiths.

The Governors, staff and children have a palpable sense of pride in the way that they talk about their school and go about their daily work. In our Christian vision, we make a commitment to ‘love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another’. This is clearly evident throughout the work of the school. My aim is to build on the good work of the school in recent years, further improve and refine areas that can be built upon and ensure that we continue to achieve the best that we can.

Throughout this term, I will be consulting all members of the school community regarding what they feel the strengths of our school are and what aspects could be improved. The opinions of all those involved in the life of the school will be valued.

Thank you for your continued support of the school. I’m looking forward to working with you all over these coming years, as we work together to ensure the best possible education for your children.

Mr N Brompton, Head Teacher
